Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday offered prayers at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple along with his family members.
He arrived at the hill shrine in the morning and received a warm welcome from TTD officials. Soon after, he paid respects to Lord Venkateswara as part of his prayers visit.
Devotees present at the temple gathered in large numbers during the Bhatti prayers. Many greeted him with handshakes and took selfies. He responded warmly and interacted with those present.
Bhatti Vikramarka prayers continue at Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple
Following the Tirumala visit, Bhatti Vikramarka proceeded to Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple. There, he and his family offered special prayers to Lord Shiva.
Temple priests performed rituals and blessed him with Vedic hymns during the prayers. They also presented sacred theertha prasadam to him.
TTD staff and temple authorities welcomed him cordially and took photographs during the visit. The Deputy Chief Minister maintained a cordial interaction with officials and devotees throughout the programme.
