HYDERABAD: A serious road accident occurred in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, leaving seven people injured, including tourists from South Korea. Two of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
The collision took place near Vinobha Nagar on the national highway, where two cars coming from opposite directions crashed into each other. One of the cars was carrying a family en route to Hyderabad, while the other was transporting South Korean tourists heading to Bhadrachalam.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the impact. Emergency responders, including local police, arrived promptly at the scene after receiving information about the incident. They initiated rescue efforts and transported the injured to hospital via ambulance.
Doctors later confirmed that two of the victims sustained critical injuries. Preliminary police investigations suggest that excessive speed may have been a contributing factor to the crash. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
