BC Gurukul entrance exam for Classes 6 to 8 to be held on 20 April in Telangana

HYDERABAD: The entrance examination for admissions into Classes 6 to 8 in BC Welfare Residential Schools across Telangana will be held on 20 April 2025. The exam is being organised by the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana BC Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (MJPTBCWREIS).

Online applications for the BC Gurukul entrance exam were accepted from 6 March to 31 March 2025. The objective of the exam is to provide quality education to meritorious students from backward communities.

The test will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM across various districts in the state. Candidates have been instructed to download their hall tickets from the official website of MJPTBCWREIS ahead of the examination.

Successful candidates will be granted admission to one of the 294 BC Welfare Residential Schools across Telangana, which include 148 schools for boys and 146 for girls.
