Public response during Bathukamma pond inspection

Residents told him that the Bathukamma pond had turned into a recreation point for all age groups. Earlier, the area carried a foul smell and triggered frequent illness. Now, however, the stretch offered clean air and supported regular exercise. Walkers said the upgraded track changed the look of the neighbourhood and improved their daily routine. Parents added that the open space created a reliable play area for children. Locals further explained that access to the pond transformed the surroundings and improved their quality of life.

Ranganath reminded them that the pond was inaugurated on September 28. He noted that the planted saplings would strengthen the environment once they grew. Moreover, he urged walkers to work with HYDRAA to keep the area clean. He said joint effort remained essential for maintaining the upgraded facilities. Several residents interacted with him and captured photographs during the visit. Children thanked him and expressed their appreciation for the improved public space.
