Bandi Sanjay alleges Revanth KTR collusion over Kaleshwaram probe

Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged Revanth KTR collusion, claiming Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was shielding K. T. Rama Rao in corruption cases linked to the Kaleshwaram project.

Speaking to media at the BJP state headquarters on Sunday, he claimed the Chief Minister was not pursuing pending cases against KTR. He further alleged that Revanth Reddy was attempting to mediate between K. Kavitha and KTR.

Bandi Sanjay said the state government was selectively targeting T. Harish Rao while limiting the probe to specific components of the Kaleshwaram project. He argued that the inquiry focused only on the Annaram, Sundilla, and Medigadda barrages instead of the entire project.

He questioned why the proposed CBI probe was restricted to alleged irregularities worth ₹9,000 crore. According to him, a full-scale investigation into the larger ₹1 lakh crore project would expose wider irregularities.

Revanth KTR collusion charge widens political attack

Bandi Sanjay alleged that Congress and BRS were engaged in collusive politics. He claimed the Chief Minister avoided raising issues such as the Formula E race case, drug-related cases, and farmhouse allegations involving KTR.

He further alleged that Revanth Reddy was considering a future political understanding with the BRS. He dismissed speculation of any BJP alliance with the BRS, stating that his party opposed dynastic politics.

Referring to Narendra Modi, he said the BJP leadership had made it clear that dynastic candidates would not be encouraged. He reiterated that the party’s goal was to eliminate corruption linked to the KCR family.

Bandi Sanjay also commented on delimitation and women’s reservation, stating that the BJP would follow uniform national policies without regional bias.

Looking ahead to elections, he expressed confidence that the BJP would perform strongly in multiple states. He claimed that public sentiment and opinion trends favoured the party’s return to power in several regions.

The remarks intensified political tensions in Telangana, with fresh allegations of collusion and selective investigation dominating the Kaleshwaram debate.
