Bandi Sanjay counters Congress claims on Centre’s support

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar countered the Congress government’s claim that the Centre has done nothing for Telangana.

He listed several recent decisions taken by the BJP-led NDA government.

Bandi Sanjay said the Centre announced ₹884 crore support for MSP procurement of 1.25 lakh metric tonnes of urad, sunflower and other crops from farmers in the State.

He also pointed out that the Union government approved 18,213 houses for Telangana under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).

In a post on X, Bandi Sanjay said Telangana continues to receive strong support under the leadership of Narendra Modi.

“Facts matter more than false propaganda,” he said while responding to the allegations made by the Congress government.

The Union Minister also highlighted railway and infrastructure projects approved for the State.

According to him, the Centre announced two new Amrit Bharat Express trains from Cherlapalli to Nagercoil and Kamakhya.

He also said two historic temples in Mulugu district will receive national monument status.

The Archaeological Survey of India will provide protection for these temples.

Union Minister further said the Centre approved ₹3,175 crore to widen NH-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar.

The project forms part of the Hyderabad–Panaji Economic Corridor.
