Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar sought action against Mandula Samuel over remarks made at a Congress programme.
He demanded that police register a criminal case against the MLA, alleging that the comments could disturb communal harmony.
Union Minister made the remarks while launching a yatra to Kondagattu Temple on Saturday.

Referring to an event at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, he said Mandula Samuel made objectionable remarks during the swearing-in of Manakondur MLA Kavvampally Satyanarayana as TPCC SC Cell chairman.
He also alleged that TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and other Congress leaders present on the dais supported the remarks.
BJP leader demanded that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy apologise and suspend the MLA from the party.
He further called for barring Mandula Samuel from contesting elections.
The Union Minister also warned the MLA over his prospects in the next election.
Meanwhile, Bandi Sanjay began a yatra from Karimnagar to Kondagattu along with newly elected local body representatives.
