State nodal officers from 18 states visit Gandhi Hospital under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

Hyderabad: A team of state nodal officers from 18 states visited Gandhi Hospital on Friday as part of a workshop under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The visit was aimed at observing the digital health infrastructure and patient services at the hospital.

During the tour, officials reviewed the hospital’s digital systems including patient record digitisation, fast OP services, the Scan and Share mechanism, and digital lab services. The visiting officers were briefed in detail about these processes.

Gandhi Hospital nodal officer Dr Kalyan Chakravarthy explained that the hospital is working to digitise every patient’s health record. Reports and test results are being sent directly to the patient’s mobile number. Contact details are collected during registration, and all test reports are delivered digitally.

Efforts are ongoing to fully digitise patient data for all incoming cases. The hospital superintendent, Dr C.H. Rajakumari, and other staff were also present during the visit.
