‘Arrive Alive’ road safety campaign launched across Cyberabad

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Police on Tuesday launched the ‘Arrive Alive’ road safety campaign across all Law and Order and Traffic Police Stations under the Cyberabad Commissionerate. The aim of the Arrive Alive road campaign is to enhance safety measures.

The campaign, which runs from January 13 to 24, aims to reduce road accidents and raise public awareness about traffic rules and safe driving practices.

Speaking at a public event held at Mindspace, Madhapur Traffic DCP Sai Manohar said the core message of ‘Arrive Alive’ is to ensure every citizen returns home safely to their family. He stressed that most accidents occur due to human error on the Arrive Alive road.

Key focus: Preventing avoidable accidents

The DCP pointed to overspeeding, drunk driving, wrong-side driving, and mobile phone use while driving as major causes of serious accidents. These behaviors, he said, have caused irreparable damage to many families. The Arrive Alive road initiative is a key part of countering these issues.

Sai Manohar urged all vehicle users to strictly follow traffic rules, including wearing helmets and seatbelts and adhering to speed limits. “Following basic safety practices can significantly reduce accidents and save lives,” he said.

The campaign will continue across Telangana with coordinated efforts by traffic and law enforcement authorities on the road.
