Arrive Alive awareness programme announced for LB Stadium on 14th

Hyderabad: Telangana DGP Shivadher Reddy announced that the Arrive Alive awareness programme would take place on November 14 at LB Stadium to highlight steps needed to reduce road accidents. He released the posters on Wednesday and said the campaign aimed to guide citizens with clear instructions on safe movement. Moreover, he stressed that structured efforts offered the best chance to change public behaviour.

Coordination planned for Arrive Alive awareness programme

The DGP explained that the police, transport department, corporate groups, film personalities, public representatives, educational institutions, and voluntary organisations must work together to advance the Arrive Alive awareness programme. Furthermore, he noted that joint action would create stronger outreach during the campaign period. He added that public awareness events would run through December and January to maintain constant visibility.

He urged officials to engage directly with communities because continuous interaction encouraged safer road practices. In addition, he underlined that each activity under the drive would deliver practical guidance instead of broad messages. He said the campaign would rely on repeated reminders at schools, colleges, and busy junctions across the city.

Additional DGP Mahesh Bhagwat, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police V.C. Sajjanar, Cyberabad senior officer Avinash Mohanty, Joint CP Joel Davis, Multi-Zone-1 IG Chandra Shekhar Reddy, and Road Safety SPs Sandeep and Manohar joined the poster release. They reviewed the event schedule and outlined the deployment of teams for citywide sessions. Besides, they emphasised the need for consistent messaging to ensure the campaign reached every commuter.
