Hyderabad: In a swift move late last night, police arrested Kommneneni Srinivasa Rao for allegedly making derogatory remarks about women in Amaravati. The arrest came after mounting public outrage over his comments.
Police initially held Srinivasa Rao at Nallapadu police station overnight. Early this morning, he was taken to Guntur Government General Hospital, where a thorough medical examination was conducted. Doctors at the hospital confirmed that all necessary tests were completed without incident.
After completing the medical formalities, Tulllur police began preparations to present him before the Mangalagiri court later today. Police officials said all procedures were carried out according to protocol and no irregularities were reported.
