Ajay Devgn proposes world-class film studio in Telangana, meets CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on Monday expressed keen interest in developing a world-class film studio in Telangana, during a meeting with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his official residence in New Delhi.

Devgn proposed establishing an international-standard film complex featuring state-of-the-art Animation, VFX, and AI-powered smart studios. He also offered to set up a skill development institute to train industry professionals across various film-related domains.

Highlighting Telangana’s potential as a leading hub for cinema infrastructure, Devgn requested the Chief Minister to extend support in facilitating this ambitious project. He explained that such a facility could significantly enhance the state’s media and entertainment profile, while bringing in global expertise and cutting-edge technology.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy briefed the actor on Telangana’s current policies and infrastructure initiatives supporting the media and entertainment sectors. Devgn praised the state government’s proactive efforts and assured his support as a brand ambassador to promote “Rising Telangana” through cinema and media platforms.

The meeting was also attended by Ajit Reddy, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Dr. Gaurav Uppal, Secretary for Coordination of Central Schemes.
