Hyderabad: Accreditation cards will be issued to all eligible journalists in the state under GO MS No. 252, Information and Public Relations Special Commissioner C H Priyanka said on Tuesday.
She stated that the department will process applications from print, electronic, digital, freelance and veteran journalists across Telangana. Accordingly, the Information Department has developed a dedicated online portal to streamline the application process.
Journalists must apply through the official website ipr.telangana.gov.in. The department will start accepting online applications from the 9th of this month. Moreover, officials will continue the accreditation application and issuance process on an ongoing basis.

Priyanka clarified that the department will handle the entire procedure digitally to ensure transparency and accessibility. Therefore, eligible journalists must submit their applications only through the online system.
In case applicants face technical issues while submitting forms, they may contact the Media Relations wing of the Information Department. They can call 9154170881 during office hours between 10.30 am and 5 pm for assistance.
The department urged eligible media professionals to utilise the facility and complete the process as per the prescribed guidelines.
