Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Rangareddy Unit conducted surprise inspections on Friday at the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana BC Welfare Residential School and Hostel for Boys in Babaguda, Shameerpet mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
The checks, carried out with assistance from Legal Metrology, Sanitary and Food Inspectors, and an Auditor, focused on food quality, hygiene conditions, student strength, and hostel record maintenance.
ACB raid BC Welfare Hostel exposes violations
The inspection revealed serious irregularities. ACB officials found unhygienic conditions in the kitchen and bathrooms, along with poor maintenance of hostel records. A detailed report is being sent to the government, recommending action against the responsible personnel.
