HYDERABAD: Telangana Revenue, Housing & Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that the state government will begin allocating 3,500 Indiramma houses per constituency starting next week. This decision aims to provide housing to eligible beneficiaries under the state’s welfare initiatives.
Speaking at the Kusumanchi MLA camp office in Palair constituency on Friday, Minister Ponguleti emphasized that the current government, led by the Indiramma administration, has been in power for 15 months. He stated that despite the financial instability inherited from the previous administration, the government is committed to fulfilling the promises made to the people during the elections.
The minister assured that ration cards will be issued to all eligible beneficiaries. However, due to the state’s financial constraints, the distribution of the promised gold scheme is facing delays. He criticized the previous government for creating financial mismanagement under the pretext of development, adding that the current administration is now working towards stabilizing the economy while ensuring development and welfare programs continue without interruption.
Ponguleti further reaffirmed that the government is dedicated to the welfare of the poor and will honor every commitment made, even if there are delays in implementation. He reiterated that the administration is focused on both welfare and development, ensuring that public welfare schemes reach all deserving citizens.
