HYDERABAD, February 11: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) chief Manda Krishna Madiga met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss issues related to Scheduled Caste (SC) categorisation and reservations. The meeting took place on Monday, with Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and several leaders from the Madiga community also in attendance.
Sources indicate that the discussion focused on the demand for SC categorisation and ensuring fair distribution of reservations among various Dalit sub-groups. Mandakrishna is expected to present the community’s concerns and suggest policy measures.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reportedly assured the delegation that their views would be taken into consideration. Further deliberations on the issue are expected in the coming days.
