Hyderabad: WE Hub, Telangana’s state-run platform for women entrepreneurs, held a graduation event for 600 students under its WE Enable initiative on Saturday.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, the chief guest, praised the programme for giving young women real-world exposure. He said the state remains committed to boosting women’s participation in the workforce.
Olympian Jwala Gutta and producer-entrepreneur Priyanka Dutt also spoke at the event. They shared stories of resilience, encouraging students to set their own goals and break limits.
WE Enable worked with women from both private and government colleges in Hyderabad. The goal was to build confidence and workplace readiness. Over six months, students learned to navigate real-world problems and apply their skills beyond the classroom.
WE Enable initiative gave hands-on training to students
According to WE Hub, the programme included mentorship, industry visits and training in leadership and problem-solving. These sessions helped students reimagine their futures as decision-makers and innovators.
The WE Enable initiative is part of a larger plan to support women across Telangana. WE Hub said it would continue investing in women-led innovation across urban and rural areas.
