Hyderabad: Labour, Employment and Mines Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy said the government would make efforts to establish a Christian Bhavan Hyderabad project for the Christian community.
The minister said he would bring the proposal for Christian Bhavan Hyderabad to the attention of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He added that he would request the state government to grant approval for the project.
Vivek Venkatswamy said authorities would identify a suitable location before moving ahead with the project. According to him, the government would ensure the land chosen for Christian Bhavan Hyderabad remains free from disputes.
He also said the state government remains committed to addressing issues faced by the Christian community.
The minister made the remarks while inaugurating the office of the Global Christian Law Board at Mettuguda in Hyderabad on Monday.

Speaking at the event, Vivek Venkatswamy described the establishment of the Global Christian Law Board as a positive development. He said the organisation could play a key role in addressing issues faced by Christians.
The minister appreciated the initiative to create the board to support poor and needy members of the community. According to him, the organisation would help strengthen legal support systems.
He said the board could play an important role in providing legal assistance to members of the Christian community.
Vivek Venkatswamy also highlighted the importance of women’s development in the welfare of minority communities. Therefore, he urged Christian women to utilise government welfare schemes designed for their benefit.
According to the minister, participation of women in welfare programmes would strengthen the social and economic progress of the community. He also expressed hope that the board would work effectively in supporting the Christian community in the future.
