VIJAYAWADA: A horrifying incident of child abuse has come to light in Vijayawada, where a woman allegedly subjected her three-year-old daughter to brutal torture with the help of her partner.
The woman, a resident of YSR Colony in Vijayawada, was reportedly involved in an illicit relationship with a man from the same locality. According to reports, the two allegedly inflicted severe physical abuse on the child, leaving visible burn marks and injuries on her body.
Local residents, disturbed by the child’s condition, intervened and took her into their care to protect her from further harm.
Authorities are yet to release additional details regarding legal action being taken against the accused woman and her partner.
