Hyderabad: Vaddepalli municipality delivered a decisive victory to the All India Forward Bloc (AIFB), strengthening the political position of former MLC and Telangana Jagruthi President Kalvakuntla Kavitha in Jogulamba Gadwal district.

As Telangana municipal results came in, Vaddepalli municipality produced a clear mandate. The AIFB won eight of the 10 wards in the civic body. Congress and BRS secured one ward each. Meanwhile, the BJP and Janasena failed to win a single seat.

Vaddepalli municipality win marks key moment after BRS suspension

The eight AIFB winners, all known as Kavitha supporters, took control of Vaddepalli. Their combined strength ensured they claimed the municipal chair.

The development drew attention because it followed her suspension from the BRS after internal differences. After that split, she remained politically isolated. Therefore, the Vaddepalli victory marked her first electoral success since the fallout.

The result added fresh momentum to her political camp in the district.
