Hyderabad: CPI leader K. Narayana said US policies threaten global peace and warned that growing global conflicts are creating instability across several regions.
Addressing the second day of the Communist Party of India Telangana State Council meeting at Maqdoom Bhavan on Wednesday, Narayana criticised the foreign policy approach of the United States. He said such policies were contributing to global tensions and undermining peace efforts.
The CPI National Control Commission chairman also spoke about the continuing economic crisis in Cuba. He said the situation persists because of long-standing blockades and international economic pressures.
However, Narayana added that the people of Cuba continue their struggle despite the difficult conditions.

Referring to the recent war situation, Narayana called for an immediate halt to military aggression against Iran. According to him, wars only bring destruction and suffering to ordinary people.
He urged countries opposing imperialist policies to work together to prevent further escalation. In particular, he called on Russia and China to coordinate efforts to safeguard global peace.
Narayana also referred to recent political developments in Sri Lanka. He said youth played a major role in the people’s movements that shaped the country’s recent political changes.
Commenting on Indian politics, the CPI leader said the Left Democratic Front is currently in a strong position in Kerala. He expressed confidence that the alliance could defeat the United Democratic Front in the upcoming elections.
