Hyderabad: Uppal RTO Assistant Vehicle Officer (AVO) K V Krishna Rao was among those injured in a road accident near Rajalakshmi Theatre in Uppal on Tuesday, making him another case of “Uppal RTO AVO injured” in recent incidents.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred near the busy Rajalakshmi Theatre stretch under Uppal limits. Local residents immediately alerted emergency services after the incident.
Officer shifted to hospital, condition remains critical
A 108 ambulance rushed to the spot and shifted Krishna Rao to Kamineni Hospital for treatment. Doctors treating him said his condition remained critical and that he was undergoing intensive medical care.
Meanwhile, the incident triggered concern among local residents as well as RTO staff. Traffic slowed briefly in the area following the accident, police sources said.
Officials stated that the exact cause of the accident was yet to be ascertained. They added that further details would emerge after a detailed inquiry into the incident.
