HYDERABAD: Tension gripped several residential colonies in Uppal during the early hours of Wednesday as unidentified burglars attempted to break into multiple houses in Raghavendra Colony, Annapurna Colony, and Kalyanapuri Colony.
Residents reported that the intruders tried to force their way into several homes, and in some cases, even conducted partial searches. However, they were unable to steal any valuable items, providing a huge relief to the residents.
Though the incident did not result in any major loss, the fear of criminal activity has left locals concerned. Residents have appealed to the police to increase patrolling in the area during nighttime to prevent future break-ins.
The police are investigating the attempts and have promised to enhance security measures in the affected colonies.
