President, PM and leaders extend Ugadi greetings

Hyderabad: Ugadi greetings poured in from President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders of Telugu states, marking the Telugu New Year celebrations.

President Droupadi Murmu extended her wishes on the occasion of Chaitra Shukladi, Ugadi and other regional new year festivals. She said these celebrations reflect India’s rich cultural diversity and expressed hope that the new year would bring prosperity and happiness.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed Ugadi greetings in Telugu. He said the festival symbolises new beginnings, energy and tradition, while also expressing hope that the coming year would bring success, health and joy to all.

Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy described Ugadi as a festival that reflects life’s philosophy through its traditional elements. He said the new year should bring new opportunities and progress.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also extended greetings. He expressed hope that the new year would bring new light and prosperity into people’s lives.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan conveyed his wishes as well. He called upon people to celebrate the festival with positivity and renewed spirit.
