TSRTC cuts fares on Hyderabad-Vijayawada route by up to 30%

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced a major reduction in ticket fares for services running between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, cutting prices by 16% to 30% across several bus categories.

According to TSRTC officials, the fare for Garuda Plus buses has been slashed by 30%. Electric Garuda services will see a 26% reduction. Super Luxury and Lahari non-AC buses will offer a 20% cut, while fares for Rajadhani and Lahari AC buses will drop by 16%.

Discount Applies to Both Online and Offline Bookings

Officials confirmed that the revised fares will be available through both online and offline ticketing platforms.

The fare cut is seen as a move to boost ridership on the busy inter-state corridor and provide relief to frequent travellers between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

No specific deadline has been announced for the duration of the revised fare structure.
