Traffic restrictions around KBR Park for flyover works

Hyderabad: Police imposed traffic restrictions around KBR Park from Friday due to steel flyover and underpass works near the park entrance, Mugdha Junction and Jubilee Hills checkpost.

The Joint Commissioner of Traffic issued a statement asking motorists to plan travel in advance. He advised commuters in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills to consider the restrictions near KBR Park before starting their journey.

Diversions announced near KBR Park

Police will divert vehicles from Nagarjuna Circle towards Jubilee Hills checkpost at Srinagar Colony T-Junction and Sagar Society. Motorists must use Srinagar Colony Main Road, Indiranagar Labour Adda, Jubilee Hills Road No. 5 and Venkateshwara Cross Road.

Those travelling from Road Nos. 36 and 45 towards NFCL can go via Jubilee Hills checkpost, Road No. 2, Yousufguda Basti, Yousufguda checkpost, Maitrivanam and Ameerpet. Alternatively, they may pass through Indiranagar Labour Adda and Srinagar Colony.

Vehicles heading from KCP Guest House and Banjara Hills Road No. 1 towards KBR Park should take Road No. 10. They must turn left at Cancer Hospital and proceed via Agrasen Island and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan to reach Road No. 45.

Similarly, motorists coming from Masab Tank towards KBR Park should turn left at Virinchi Hospital. They can then travel through Agrasen Island and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan to connect to Road No. 45.

Police advised commuters to avoid these stretches during peak hours between 8.30 am and 11 am, and 5 pm to 9 pm. They asked motorists to follow police instructions and traffic signboards. Authorities suggested using navigation apps for updates. They also encouraged public transport or carpooling to reduce congestion.
