Tirumala laddus dispatched for Vontimitta Kalyanam

Hyderabad: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams completed the Tirumala laddus dispatch of 85,000 laddus for the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta in Kadapa district on Sunday.

Around 300 Srivari Sevaks participated in the packing process. Officials said over 200 women and about 100 men volunteers carried out the activity with devotion. The work began at 8 am and continued for nearly five hours before concluding at 1 pm.

The exercise took place under the supervision of Estates Officer Venkateswarulu and his team. The packing, lifting, and dispatch operations were completed on schedule to ensure timely delivery.

Officials stated that the initiative followed instructions from TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Executive Officer M. Ravichandra, and Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary. They coordinated the arrangements for the large-scale dispatch.

The laddus will be distributed to devotees attending the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 1 at Vontimitta. Authorities said the preparation ensured that all arrangements were in place ahead of the religious event.

The Srivari Seva Sadan staff also assisted in the process. Officials highlighted that the coordinated effort helped complete the task efficiently within a limited timeframe.

The Tirumala laddus dispatch remains a key logistical activity ahead of major temple events, ensuring that prasadam reaches devotees in large numbers.
