Hyderabad: Hyderabad cricketer Tilak Varma met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy after being part of India’s T20 World Cup-winning team.
The young cricketer called on the Chief Minister after returning to the city following the tournament. The Chief Minister felicitated him with a shawl and conveyed his congratulations.
He later shared the interaction on social media. Ministers Mohammed Azharuddin and Vakiti Srihari, along with Rajya Sabha member Vem Narender Reddy, attended the programme.

The Chief Minister said the player’s performance brought pride to Telangana. He added that the youngster would inspire aspiring sportspersons across the State.
The Hyderabad batter played a key role in India’s success in the recently concluded T20 World Cup.
Officials from the Telangana Sports Authority and other senior leaders were present during the meeting.
