Thieves loot SBI ATM in Adilabad, spray cameras, cut machine with gas cutter

Hyderabad: Unidentified men looted an SBI ATM in Ramnagar Colony, Adilabad, in the early hours of Saturday after disabling the CCTV system and cutting through the machine with a gas cutter.

Police said the suspects entered the kiosk, sprayed black paint on the surveillance cameras, and used a gas torch to access the cash compartment. The exact amount stolen is yet to be confirmed.

The ATM was examined by DSP Jeevan Reddy along with Circle Inspectors Swamy and Sunil Kumar. A clues team has collected forensic evidence. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing.
