TGSRTC bus tickets now available on Meeseva mobile app

Hyderabad: TGSRTC bus tickets are now available through the Meeseva MeTicket mobile app, expanding digital access to long-distance and city transport services.

Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar launched the app at the Secretariat on Tuesday. Transport Special Secretary Vikas Raj, TGSRTC VC and MD Y. Nagi Reddy, and Meeseva Commissioner Ravikiran attended the launch.

The MeTicket app integrates OPRS services and allows passengers to book intercity and long-distance tickets digitally. Currently, commuters can access 1,710 OPRS services, including 450 A/C and 1,260 non-A/C services.

On average, around 13,000 seats are booked daily under OPRS. Key destinations include Bengaluru, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Mancherial, Khammam, Adilabad, Asifabad and Warangal.

TGSRTC bus tickets and passes move to digital platform

In addition, the app enables passengers to obtain and renew five categories of city bus passes within the Greater Hyderabad zone. Therefore, monthly passes are now available directly through the mobile platform.

The City Ordinary Pass costs Rs 1,400 per month, while the Metro Express Pass costs Rs 1,600. Similarly, the Metro Deluxe Pass is priced at Rs 1,800.

The Green Metro Luxury A/C pass costs Rs 2,200 per month, whereas the Pushpak A/C pass costs Rs 5,000. Average monthly sales stand at 8,000 for City Ordinary and 46,500 for Metro Express. Moreover, Metro Deluxe records about 12,000 monthly sales, while Green Metro Luxury and Pushpak record 100 and 450 respectively.

The app also integrates the T24 digital ticket for twin cities. This 24-hour pass allows unlimited travel on City Ordinary, Metro Express and Metro Deluxe services from activation time.

Currently, the T24 ticket records average daily sales of 16,830. The fare is Rs 130 for adults, Rs 90 for children, and Rs 110 for women from other states and senior citizens.

Senior TGSRTC executives and finance officials also attended the launch event.
