Hyderabad: TET notification 2026 was issued in Telangana, with the Education Department inviting online applications from April 15 to April 30.
The notification brought relief to unemployed teacher aspirants across the state. As a result, candidates preparing for DSC gained another opportunity. This marks the second TET notification issued this year.
Officials advised candidates to complete applications early due to limited time. Meanwhile, the department began preparations to conduct the exam in June. It initiated arrangements for exam centres, hall tickets and technical processes.
TET notification 2026 outlines schedule and eligibility
Candidates must submit applications only through online mode. The application window will remain open from April 15 to April 30. For one paper, BC/OC candidates must pay ₹750, while SC/ST/PH candidates must pay ₹700.
For two papers, BC/OC candidates must pay ₹1000. In comparison, SC/ST/PH candidates must pay ₹950.
The TET exams will be conducted from June 15 to June 30 in computer-based test mode. Candidates can download hall tickets from June 9. Therefore, applicants should prepare in advance using the prescribed syllabus.
To qualify, General and EWS candidates must secure at least 60 per cent marks. BC candidates must obtain 50 per cent, while SC/ST/PH candidates need 40 per cent.
The Education Department planned to release results between July 28 and July 31. Further details will be available on the official website, officials said.
