Hyderabad: An unidentified woman was struck and killed by a speeding express train near Kottapalli railway gate in Telangana’s Peddapalli mandal on Saturday, police said.
The victim, believed to be between 55 and 60 years old, was attempting to cross the railway tracks when the accident occurred, according to railway head constable Tirupati.
No identification documents or personal belongings were found on the woman, officials added. The body was discovered near the tracks following the incident.
