Hyderabad: The State government sanctioned Rs 5.80 crore for erection of the Telangana Thalli statue at 33 Integrated District Office Complexes (IDOCs) across Telangana.
The Transport, Roads and Buildings (Buildings) Department issued G.O. Rt. No. 100 on February 19, 2026, according administrative sanction for the project. Accordingly, the government approved construction of 33 statues at various district headquarters.
Officials will utilise funds under the Head of Account earmarked for construction of buildings for Telangana Kalabharathi and other departments. Moreover, the Finance Department issued necessary concurrence for release of funds.

The order authorises allocation of Rs 5,80,00,000 for the project during the financial year 2025-26. Therefore, authorities will release funds through quarterly regulation based on availability.
The government directed the Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) Buildings, Hyderabad, to take necessary action and execute the works as per procedure.
The order was issued in the name of the Governor of Telangana and signed by Special Chief Secretary to Government Vikas Raj.
