Students were not allowed to wear their school uniforms while attending the examination. Officials said the measure was introduced to maintain anonymity at the centres.
Candidates were permitted to carry only essential examination materials. These included hall tickets, exam pads, pens, pencils, scales, sharpeners, erasers and geometric instruments.
Electronic devices were strictly prohibited inside the centres. Mobile phones, calculators and smartwatches were not allowed during the Telangana SSC exams.
Facilities arranged for students during Telangana SSC exams
Officials also set up facilities at the entrance of examination centres to store personal belongings. These counters allowed students to safely deposit electronic gadgets and other restricted items.
The storage service was provided free of cost to ensure convenience for candidates. Education department officials said the arrangement helped maintain compliance with examination rules.
Authorities said the first day of the Telangana SSC exams passed without major issues. Officials will continue monitoring the remaining examinations until the schedule concludes on April 16.
