Hyderabad: The results of the Telangana POLYCET 2025 exam were announced at 11 a.m. on Saturday by the Commissioner of Technical Education, bringing relief and celebration for thousands of students across the state.
Held on May 13, the exam saw 98,858 students participate from various districts. Of those, 83,364 cleared the test, pushing the overall pass percentage to 84.33%.
Girls outshone boys by a wide margin this year. While 88.54% of female candidates passed, the success rate among boys stood at 80.69%. Out of 53,085 boys who appeared for the exam, 42,836 made the cut. Among 45,773 girls, an impressive 40,528 passed.
The exam was scored out of 120 marks, with the general qualifying mark set at 36. For students from SC and ST communities, a slight relaxation brought the qualifying score down to 35.
