Hyderabad: Telangana Police inaugurated a fuel station at Begumpet to generate revenue for the welfare of police personnel.
Director General of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy inaugurated the Telangana Police fuel station in the presence of Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty and senior officers. He said the initiative would strengthen welfare support within the department.
He added that the department would use revenue from the outlet to fund welfare activities. Therefore, the project aims to improve benefits for police personnel.
Telangana Police fuel station to serve the public and personnel
Officials set up the fuel station in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited to ensure a reliable supply of quality fuel. In addition, the outlet will cater to the general public.
The Commissioner of Police said the petrol bunk will open to the public from April 1, 2026. As a result, it will increase fuel availability in the Begumpet area.
