Telangana Police secure big win in All India South Zone T20

Hyderabad: Telangana Police secured a commanding 124-run victory over NSG in the All India South Zone T20 tournament at the Andhra Cricket Association ground in Mulapadu on Sunday.

Opting to bat first, Telangana Police posted a massive 259 for 2 in the allotted 20 overs. The total put the opposition under immediate pressure.

Lokanath Naik led the charge with a blistering 119 off 58 balls. His aggressive stroke play anchored the innings and set the tone for the contest.

C.V. Anand, Special Chief Secretary of the Telangana Home Department, also contributed significantly with 40 runs. His innings added stability and momentum to the total.

All India South Zone T20 win powered by dominant performance

Chasing a steep target, NSG struggled against disciplined bowling. The team folded for 135 runs in 18.3 overs.

Telangana bowlers maintained tight lines and controlled the run flow throughout the innings. Consequently, they sealed the match with authority.

For his outstanding century, Lokanath Naik received the “Man of the Match” award. C.V. Anand and AP DIG Sports and Welfare Anburajan presented the award after the game.

With this result, Telangana Police strengthened their position in the tournament.
