Telangana High Court website hacked, police launch cyber crime probe

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court’s official website (tshc.gov.in) was hacked, causing a serious disruption in public access to court orders and notifications. The breach occurred on November 11, when users trying to open PDF documents found themselves redirected to an online betting site called ‘BDG SLOT’.

After noticing the issue, the High Court Registrar reported it to the police. The tampered PDFs were hosted by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), which manages the website. The registrar said this act clearly pointed to a cyber intrusion.
