Telangana extends LRS deadline again, 25% fee rebate till May 31

Hyderabad: Another extension. Telangana’s Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) deadline has now been pushed to May 31, giving applicants yet another chance to settle with a 25% rebate on fees.

The Revanth Reddy-led government made the call on Monday, marking the fourth time the deadline has been extended since the scheme’s revival under the one-time settlement (OTS) push in February.

Initially set to close on March 31, the deadline was first extended to April-end, then to May 3, and now—fresh relief till the end of the month.

The scheme, aimed at legalising unapproved layouts, allows plot owners to regularise their properties at concessional rates. Officials said the 25% fee concession remains applicable for those who pay within the new deadline.

The move is expected to benefit thousands across the state who missed earlier windows.
