Hyderabad: Telangana opens applications for disability scholarships 2025–26
The Telangana Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, older Citizens and Transgender Persons has started accepting online applications for Telangana disability scholarships 2025–26. Eligible students with disabilities can submit their forms through the National Scholarship Portal, www.scholarships.gov.in.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, is offering these scholarships for the academic year 2025–26. The department announced that students must complete their applications by October 31, 2025.
Department urges early submission before the deadline
Officials urged students with disabilities to apply early to avoid last-minute portal issues. The initiative supports disabled students pursuing education at various levels and strengthens the government’s effort to ensure inclusive education.
The department also directed educational institutions to inform eligible students about the scholarship and encourage them to apply promptly.
