Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid tribute to Maulana Hafeez Peer Shabbir, president of the Jamiat Ulema for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He praised Shabbir for his lifelong service to minorities and his efforts to promote communal harmony.

The Chief Minister visited the Maulana’s home at Shaheen Nagar under Jalpally Municipality to offer condolences to his family. During the visit, he recalled Shabbir’s work in fostering unity between Hindus and Muslims and in building a peaceful social environment.
Calling his death an irreparable loss, Revanth Reddy said the void affected not only the Muslim community but all of Telangana. He added that the Maulana’s legacy of service and compassion would remain a guiding light.
Revanth Reddy also assured that his government would continue working toward resolving minority issues, following Shabbir’s ideals. The Chief Minister said the state would find a lasting way to honour the late leader’s contributions.
