Hyderabad: A Class 10 student ended her life at a government Gurukul school in Mallikapet area of Hanamkonda district, Telangana. The girl, identified as Shrivani, was found hanging in the school bathroom.
School authorities alerted her parents immediately. On arrival, the parents accused the principal and staff of negligence and staged a protest outside the campus.
They alleged their daughter’s death occurred under suspicious circumstances and demanded a fair investigation. Grief-stricken relatives joined the protest, sitting on the road and calling for justice.
Police reached the spot and began a preliminary probe. A case has been registered based on the parents’ complaint, and the body was sent for post-mortem. Police assured strict action after a full investigation.
