HYDERABAD: In a rather unusual incident from Telangana’s Sangareddy district, a young boy lodged a police complaint after discovering that a toy helicopter he bought at a local fair was not working.
Vinay Reddy, a boy from Komati Mandal, had visited the jatara with his grandfather. He spent ₹300 on a toy helicopter, only to find it malfunctioning soon after the purchase. When he tried to return the item, the vendor refused to take it back.
Frustrated, the boy approached the police with a complaint. However, by the time officers reached the location, the vendor had already left the fair.
The police later summoned the boy’s grandfather and explained the situation to both of them before sending them home.
