Hyderabad: Telangana BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao on Friday praised Sri Vedavyasa School Trust at Kuntlur village near Nagole for promoting Vedic education and preserving traditional values. He said such institutions play a vital role in shaping morally grounded and culturally aware future citizens.
Rao interacted with students and teachers during his visit to the school and commended its efforts in blending education with righteousness, patriotism, and cultural pride. He emphasised that Vedic learning serves as a moral compass for society and instills a sense of national identity in children.
Sharing a personal reflection, Rao said his daily political work usually begins with addressing party and public concerns. However, visiting the school gave him a rare moment to reconnect with India’s ancient spiritual and cultural roots. He described the experience as both meaningful and inspiring.
The BJP leader also recalled India’s historical learning centres like Nalanda and Takshashila. He said the Vedas have always been integral to India’s intellectual and ethical growth. Applauding the school’s contribution, he said students receiving Vedic education today will help preserve the nation’s civilisational legacy.
