Telangana issues notification to fill 607 Assistant Professor posts in health dept

Hyderabad: The Telangana Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) has issued a fresh notification to recruit 607 Assistant Professors in the health department.

The application process will begin on June 10. This is part of the state government’s broader push to strengthen staffing across government hospitals.

Just two days ago, notifications were released for Dental Assistant Surgeon and Speech Therapist posts.

Health Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha shared the update on X, stating that the government has filled over 8,000 posts in public health institutions over the past 17 months.

He added that the recruitment process is ongoing for another 2,322 Nursing Officers, 732 Pharmacists, 1,284 Lab Technicians, and 1,931 Multi-Purpose Female Health Assistants.

Results for these categories have already been released, and merit lists are currently being finalised.
