HYDERABAD: A 16-year-old boy drowned in the Krishna River on Friday morning near Nemalipuri in Pulichintala project colony, Suryapet district, after an attempt to learn swimming ended in tragedy.
The deceased, Kommu Lokesh, was a resident of the Pulichintala project colony and a Class 8 student at a residential hostel in Kapugallu, Kodad mandal. He had returned home ten days earlier for the summer holidays.
