Techie murder in Vanasthalipuram leads to arrest of ex-husband

Hyderabad: A techie murder in Vanasthalipuram was reported on Wednesday after a 30-year-old software professional was allegedly killed by her former husband at her residence in Green City Colony.

Police identified the victim as Sunitha. According to preliminary investigation, the accused, Mahesh, entered her house armed with knives and petrol. He then attacked her and allegedly struck her with a flower pot, leading to fatal injuries. Subsequently, local residents alerted authorities.

Investigators said Sunitha had recently divorced Mahesh and remarried. However, officials have not disclosed further details regarding the sequence of events prior to the assault. Police took the accused into custody soon after the incident.
