Hyderabad: Suryapet district rural doctors on Tuesday met TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud and sought issuance of Community Paramedical Certificates under GO No. 1274.
The Rural Doctors Association submitted a memorandum at Gandhi Bhavan and asked the party leadership to revive the stalled certification process. They recalled that during Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure as Chief Minister, the government introduced structured training for rural practitioners.
Under the government order, authorities planned practical training in 104 and 108 ambulance services. After completing the programme, candidates were to appear for examinations and receive formal certification, the delegation said.
However, the initiative stopped after the sudden demise of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. As a result, many practitioners continued to serve without official recognition despite partial training.
The association urged Mahesh Kumar Goud to ensure that the government conduct the pending examinations at the earliest. They pressed for early issuance of Community Paramedical Certificates to eligible candidates.
