Silver price surges ₹13,000 in 4 days, hits ₹1.8 lakh/kg; gold dips slightly

Hyderabad: Silver prices surged unexpectedly over the past few days, hitting a record high and catching buyers off guard. In just one day, the price of silver jumped by ₹4,000 per kilogram to reach ₹1.8 lakh, marking an overall increase of ₹13,000 in four days.

Market analysts attributed the sharp rise to increased industrial demand and favourable global trends. The steep climb has made silver a topic of major discussion among traders and investors.

Gold prices ease despite investor interest

In contrast, gold saw a mild decline despite continued investor interest amid global economic uncertainty. As of now, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold stands at ₹1,27,750, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,17,100.

While both metals remain attractive investment options during volatile periods, silver’s rapid rise has surprised even seasoned market watchers.
