Hyderabad: Shiv Pratap Shukla was sworn in as the fifth Governor of Telangana at Lok Bhavan in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh of the Telangana High Court administered the oath of office during the official ceremony.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the swearing-in along with several senior political leaders. The gathering included Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and several ministers were also present at the event. Members of Parliament, MLAs, MLCs, and leaders from different political parties attended the ceremony.

Several senior government officials participated in the swearing-in ceremony of Shiv Pratap Shukla.
Chief Secretary Ramkrishna Rao and Director General of Police Shivdhar Reddy attended the event along with other senior administrative officers.
The ceremony marked the formal assumption of office by Shiv Pratap as the constitutional head of the Telangana state government.
